Womanspace Ardmore is a residential treatment program for women who experience chemical dependence. Recovery and therapy in a home-based atmosphere is aimed at rehabilitation and a return to the community. We are looking for part-time, on-call staff.
Life Skills, Recreation and Educational Counseling
Conduct has 1-hour group on each shift (except overnight shift)
Chaperone residents at appointments/field trips/hospital when required
Assist in GED, bus schedules, other needed services
Daily Accountability to support residents in the daily "Accountability Sheet" that outlines the daily schedule
3. Food and Household Goods
Assist, monitor and support cooking
Support, assist and monitor meal preparation and cleanup
Support for implementation of a sound nutritional program
4. Medication and Health Management
Assist residents in securing prescriptions
Log in Medication Log Book
Monitor the residents' self-administration of all medication
Assist residents in scheduling medical appointments and follow-up medical recommendations
Collection of urine samples as assigned
5. General Program
Conduct, facilitate and document fire as directed by the Director
Participate in Case Consultation Meetings, Staff Meetings and Supervision Assigned by the Director
Read log daily and document in the log at the end of each shift
Inventory each resident's possessions upon admission and discharge
Provide emergency coverage for the next shift
As assigned by Director to ensure continuity of care
High School Graduate preferably with some direct service experience in a health care setting.
High School Graduate or GED . Must be able to climb three flights of stairs every hour.
