Description/Job Summary

Position Summary
 
RHD’s Woodstock Family Center (WFC) provides emergency housing services for single women with children. During their stay they will be focused on housing, employment, health, community involvement, and education. The primary goal of the program will be for residents to obtain permanent housing in a short period of time.
 
The Direct Service Professional is directly responsible for creating an environment that reflects the mission of the RHD’s WFC and complies with the standards of the Philadelphia’s Office of Homeless Services (OHS).The position functions within the administrative/supervisory team of the Woodstock Family Center.  A commitment to the RHD Values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.

Responsibilities/Duties

 Support residents moving in / out of Woodstock Family Center

Required Experience

One year of experience

Required Education

High School Diploma

Required Qualifications

  • Monitor medication on assigned floor.
  • Prepares reports on residents status, activities, treatments, care and training objectives with residents
  • Support residents moving in / out of Woodstock Family Center
  • Orient new residents to the Woodstock Family Center program
  • Interact with the residents to assist in the achievement of their therapeutic goals
  • Interact with residents participating in recreational, social or other related activities as needed
  • Conduct hourly safety checks on assigned floors
  • Complete required daily documentation of all forms
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas
  • Maintain required annual trainings, child abuse and criminal history clearances, etc.
  • Maintain all required immunizations
  • Interact professionally with residents at all times
  • Monitor resident compliance with the standards and expectations of the Office of Homeless Services
  • Other duties as assigned
