School Therapeutic Services is an intensive, short-term service offered in selected schools in the Philadelphia School District. This program was developed to support students whose emotional and behavioral issues create barriers to their school success. A team of experienced mental health professionals works closely with school staff and families to ensure that students receive the help and support they need to learn and thrive in school.
The RHD/School Therapeutic Support (STS) a division of Resources for Human Development, Inc. (RHD) seeks a Full-Time Lead and Part-Time Clinician 2 to work with children and their families in a non-office setting.
Lead Clinician staff will design and direct the implementation of individualized behavioral treatment plans, goals, and methods of intervention for children and recommendations made in conjunction with the family and other team members. Provide supervision to Bachelor’s level support staff, consult with family members, school staff and clinical team (inter and intra-agency) to implement on-going behavioral interventions.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in a clinical mental health discipline, such as: psychology, clinical social work, psychiatric nursing, marriage & family therapy and counseling from an accredited University (including 12 credits of courses in core behavioral health coursework and the provision of mental health service) and at least 1 year post-Master’s experience providing psychotherapy/counseling to children.
This position requires the following clearances: Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI clearances are valid within 30 days of hire.
Full-Time Position - $18.50 - $18.75 /hour – 10-month position with benefits and paid time off.
Part-Time Position - $29 - $30/hour
