School Therapeutic Services (STS) is an intensive, short-term service offered in selected schools in the Philadelphia School District. This program was developed to support students whose emotional and behavioral issues create barriers to their school success. A team of experienced mental health professionals works closely with school staff and families to ensure that students receive the help and support they need to learn and thrive in school.
The RHD/School Therapeutic Support (STS) a division of Resources for Human Development, Inc. (RHD) seeks a Part-Time Lead Clinician to work with children and their families in a non-office setting.
The incumbent provides provision of behavior planning, clinical supervision, and direction of STS clinical cases.
Daily individual therapy with a caseload of 10 children/adolescents;
Develop treatment plans, goals, and methods of intervention for the client;
Make recommendations in conjunction with family and team members;
Consult with family members, school staff and clinical team (inter and intra-agency) to implement ongoing behavioral interventions;
Conduct quarterly (minimum) team meetings;
Complete and submit all documentation required for insurance approvals.
A candidate with two years’ experience in CASSP is preferred
This position requires the following clearances: Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI clearances are valid within 30 days of hire.
