RHD's SALT program provides a variety of flexible services to individuals with serious mental illness in their own rent-subsidized apartments. Services are based upon the individual’s needs and include case management, crisis intervention, counseling, medication monitoring, skill building, and any service needed to assist the individual in maintaining his/her independent living.

Job purpose
 
The Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical services and interventions to consumers in both individual and group settings. The Clinical Supervisor provides overall clinical supervision, management, and support to staff in treatment planning and the provision of direct services. The Clinical Supervisor insures that the program supports the individual goals of consumers and that the recovery process is encouraged.  The Clinical Supervisor will stringently uphold the integrity of the RHD Values as outlined in the employee handbook and insure that they inform all services provided within the RTF.
 
In addition, the Clinical Supervisor demonstrates regard for the dignity and respect of the consumers and staff, always displays a caring and supportive attitude, represents the program in a positive manner, and promotes and contributes positively to the program and program relationships.  The Clinical Supervisor maintains the confidentiality of its residents and employees and upholds the integrity of RHD Values as outlined in the employee handbook.
 
Duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for the provision of psychological assessment and treatment modalities including DBT, CTR and trauma specific therapies
  • Provides weekly clinical supervision for the Clinical Manager
  • Provides clinical supervision of Direct Support Professionals through facilitation of monthly team meetings and individual clinical supervision to ensure quality of care and service delivery
  • Ensure and evaluate the quality, effectiveness and participant satisfaction of services provided to program participants. These may include vocational, educational, medical, dental, legal, behavioral health, financial, housing and/or recreation services.
  • Organizes and facilitates clinical team meetings for each resident. Ensures that the program supports goals for each resident.
  • Formulate clinical documentation for caseload (i.e recovery plans, progress notes, clinical summaries etc.).
  • Provides support to family members in regard to participant’s goals and recovery

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field (License preferred or eligible)
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a residential environment
  • Knowledge of DSM-V and proficient in psychological assessment and treatment
  • Clinical supervisory experience
  • Must have appropriate state clearances
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team required
  • Excellent writing and communication skills necessary
  • Driver’s license required
