Description/Job Summary

Residential Services Systems Program (RSS) has full-time and part-time openings for Residential Advisor in Lower, Middle and Eastern Montgomery County, PA areas for evenings and weekend shifts, awake overnight shifts, and 3-day sleepover shifts.Incumbents work as a member of a team of staff supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a community-based group home.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  •  High school diploma or GED, and a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities/Duties

 Duties include, but are not necessarily limited to, assisting and training residents in activities of daily living such as personal care, leisure time, financial management, medication monitoring, crisis management, accessing community resources, community engagement, shopping and vocational development; helping to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the residents; helping to maintain the home in accordance with regulatory and agency standards.

Required Experience

Prior experience not required but is preferred; training and supervision is provided

Program Summary

RSS provides supervised living (CLA) and supported living (SLA), shared housing, individual home ownership, education, training, and clinical treatment services for men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Montgomery County.
