RSS provides supervised living (CLA) and supported living (SLA), shared housing, education, training and clinical treatment services for men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Montgomery County.

Responsibilities/Duties

This management position entails the combined duties of a program manager and program specialist, working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in group homes in Montgomery County, PA.  The incumbent will:

  • Train and supervise direct service employees;
  • Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of individual service plans;
  • Ensure the provision of individual clinical, health care and other specialized services;
  • With assistance from Site Supervisors, ensure the day-to-day operation of homes according to agency and government standards and regulations;
  • Maintain working relationships with families, supports coordinators and other agencies.

Required Experience


Candidates must possess at least two years related work experience.

Required Education

Candidates must possess one of the following groups of qualifications:

  • A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities; OR
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities; OR
  • An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities.

Required Qualifications

Driver’s license and vehicle required.
