DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)   
   
RHD Rhode Island is a day program that serves individuals with developmental disabilities. This creative, fun, intellectually stimulating, art-based day program provides family support services, community job development and supported employment services.School Services works with students in 10 different school departments from East Providence to Exeter/West Greenwich.

Minimum Job Description:

The DSP will provide center-based and community-based direct support to adults with developmental disabilities. Upon completion of paid training, staff will work one-to-one with our participants providing a variety of community-based supports and instruction, including: independent and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) skill-building, job-coaching and community integration. 
Scheduling is flexible as well, with a variety of day, evening and weekend shifts available. Starting pay is $11.00/hr. plus mileage reimbursement. Interested candidates should fill out the online application and attach a resume.

Qualified candidates will have, at a minimum:
•    A high school diploma or GED 
•    Working vehicle 
•    Valid driver s license 
•    Current registration and insurance 
•    Clean driving record 
•    A BCI background check with no disqualifying offenses
