Description/Job Summary

The Program Manager will oversee the daily management and security of Project Advantage, including policy development, reporting, fiscal health, physical site, personnel and client services, funder and community relations.  Policy and procedure development will be done with the Unit Director in conjunction with the Corporate Office.


  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the program
  • Complete and submit all reports required of corporate office and funding agencies
  • Develop and maintain communication with funders and other partnering agencies 
  • Maintain communication  with Unit Director, BHH Service Line Director & the Financial Analyst
  • Maintain program expenditures
  • Participate in budget meetings at least quarterly
  • Supervise program staff
  • Ensure continuity of care and foster a supportive, nurturing environment

Required Qualifications

  • Four years of program management experience OR Bachelor’s degree a human service or public administration field, preferred.
  • Demonstrate significant administrative, supervisory and clinical experience
  • Preferred: experience working with homeless population, drug & alcohol programs and acute mental illness

Program Summary

Project Advantage provides permanent residential housing for women experiencing homelessness with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse issues. Staff assists residents in dealing with barriers to independence as they gain the skills necessary to live in the most independent manner possible.
