Resources for Human Development CORE Beaver program is open and hiring a Therapist to support to person’s in recovery (PIR) within the CORE program through individual and group sessions, treatment planning, support, and advocacy of their recovery.

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments including recommendations for treatment
Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet CCBHC and agency guidelines
Discharge individuals according to agency guidelines.
Enter documentation into electronic medical record in accordance with agency guidelines.
At least two years in as a counselor/therapist in a drug and alcohol.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field with at least two years as a counselor/therapist in a drug and alcohol setting
ACT 33/34 clearances
FBI clearance, as needed

CORE (Capitalizing On a Recovery Environment) Beaver County provides non-hospital detoxification, short-term and long-term non-hospital residential drug and alcohol treatment services. CORE Beaver County accepts adult male and female self-referrals as well as referrals from other human service agencies in the community. CORE Beaver utilizes evidence-based practices, supports the use of MAT, and provides trauma-informed care. We also adhere to the Recovery Oriented System of Care as we support our client's recovery and return to the community.
