Direct Support Professional (DSP) is an overnight position 11p-7a Full-time position with benefits available, part-time and prn positions also available.
Full-time benefits include 12 paid holidays, 17 vacation days. Medical / dental / vision benefits.
Glassport LTSR is hiring Direct Support professionals for overnight shifts (11p-7a), which includes weekends; holidays, and vacation coverage.
DSPs provide direct supervision of program residents, via bed checks AND complete light housekeeping to maintain LTSR physical surroundings.
DSPs will provide emotional support to program residents as needed.
Complete hourly bed checks on all program residents and report any concerns to nursing staff.
Complete an individual shift note on every program resident daily, to include any issues or concerns, in the electronic medical record.
Assist with general maintenance of facility which includes, but is not limited to:
Provide supportive services or crisis management services to program residents as needed
Assist with facilitation of fire drills
Attend training as required by RHD and licensing bodies as assigned by Director ensure continuity of care
Support and model the values of RHD and the effective implementation of the Recovery Oriented System of Care to staff and PIRs
RHD Glassport LTSR is a long-term structured residential program serving eligible adult males between the ages 18 to 65 who are residents of Allegheny County and have been diagnosed with serious mental illness and substance use disorder, or dually-diagnosed with an intellectual disability. Residents may also have a forensic history.
