The Site Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the creation of a safe and healthy environment that fosters communication and is conducive to the provision of supports for adults supported by Mainstay. This job carries with it the obligation to respect the dignity and recognize the potential for growth of every individual who receives or provides services and supports, and to advocate for the rights of people we support. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of TRS I and TRS II direct care staff, daily operations of the site(s) and ensuring the health and safety of the individuals receiving supports. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.
Provide supervision to TRS (1&2) that is one to one, direct, frequent, face to face, ongoing and appropriately documented.
Participate in hiring, site orientation, assign duties and follow progressive discipline of TRS I and TRS II staff.
Model, instruct and assist staff in supporting consumers in daily life skill development such as cooking/food preparation, shopping, academics, socialization, utilizing community resources, vocational, social and interpersonal development, etc.
Two years supervisory experience or possess willingness and capacity to develop needed skillsValid driver’s license; and acceptable driving recordPersonal vehicle or access to immediate and direct transportationState police clearance, and FBI clearance
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
Knowledge of the characteristics of sexual offending
Knowledge of and compliance with the PA 6400 Regulations and IDS Guidelines
Knowledge of RHD Corporate and Mainstay policies and procedures, values and beliefs
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form
Ability to speak frankly, honestly, and appropriately about sex and sexual matters
Ability to engage clients and staff in effective, therapeutic and healthy interactions
Problem Solving, conflict resolution, organization and time management skills
Ability to maintain professional and therapeutic boundaries
Capacity to lift individuals for the purpose of transfers if applicable
Ability to utilize and navigate Microsoft programs and applications
Mainstay is a specialized residential and treatment program for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities at risk of anit-social sexual behaviors that interfere with safe and/or legal community living.
