We are looking for DSP's with experience supporting persons with IDD and wheel chair bound individuals.
Direct Support Professional
Description/Job Summary
Seeking both bilingual (Spanish and English) and English speaking candidates.
Sunday through Saturday first, second and third shifts available.
RHD/Harmony serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Residential counselors are directly responsible for the health, safety and supervision of the individuals receiving services.

  • Job Duties/Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring individuals for safety and wellbeing.
  • Emotional support and support in achieving goals and outcomes.
  • Positive redirection/crisis management/community integration.
  • Housekeeping/meal preparation/laundry/food shopping.
  • Assisting with financial management.
  • Medical appointment management.
  • Prior experience working with persons with IDD desired.
  • Applicants with experience working with wheel chair bound individuals needed
 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Applicants with prior experience are a plus.
  • Must pass employment-related screenings and have a pre-employment physical.
  • Ability to drive in rural and city areas.
  • Must pass all mandatory trainings (CPR/FA, Medication Administration)
