The Service Line Director is responsible for the support, supervision and oversight of the operations of a collection of behavioral health programs in multiple states within the Northeast Division.
Work Location: While the shared services office located in Philadelphia, PA is the preferred location, this position can also be based in any office currently operating within the RHD Northeast Division.
Essential Duties and Functions
Provides oversight to ensure that all programs meet or exceed standards set by licensure and accreditation regulations and initiatives by the state, federal government, Division, and RHD corporate policies.
Hires, manages, and provides direct supervision to Unit Directors and other designated staff.
Develops a detailed working knowledge of all contract and program goals, accreditation and licensing requirements.
Works as part of a Divisional Team and effectively communicates all appropriate information to EVP.
Oversees program budgets and ensures fiscal responsibility in partnership with DFO, Senior Financial Analyst and Unit Directors.
Develops and encourages a positive, supportive, values based work environment.
Creates systems for ongoing staff development and assess the need for further growth and development of the programs.
Assists in creating solutions, key performance indicators, outcomes, and ensuring divisional initiatives are met.
Ensures services are designed around the needs and choices of the individuals we support.
Manages startup of new units and programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field from an accredited college or university, Master’s preferred.
5 years experience with programs designed to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, addictive disorders or other life challenges, some clinical experience preferred.
3 years experience as a Manager or Program Director working in a Human Service field.
Experience managing, supervising and/or interacting with individuals with problematic sexual behaviors preferred.
Current and valid driver’s license with ability to travel to programs and the Corporate Office as needed.
Criminal record clearances, as dictated by the assigned programs.
