Resources for Human Development is seeking mission-driven individuals to join our programs located in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and Stroudsburg areas. Full-time, Part-time, and On-call Residential Support Staff is responsible for assisting adults with disabilities to develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Create and maintain a safe and positive environment.
  • Support, guide, and teach consumers everyday skills, including cooking/food preparation, shopping, budgeting, interpersonal skills, utilizing community resources, vocational skills, social and interpersonal development.
  • Complete and review all required documentation, vehicle logs, medication logs, progress notes, sleep logs, menu plans, client inventories, incident reports, and etc.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team in order to properly implement goals listed in Individual Support plans (ISP'S)

Required Experience

  • Relevant Experience Preferred
  • Two Weeks Paid Training Provided 

Required Education

  • High School/GED

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Drivers License

Program Summary

Mainstay United offers a supervised community-based residential program designed to provide a range of established and innovative rehabilitation strategies for adults with developmental disabilities and problematic sexual behaviors who are in need of clinical/forensic treatment. The program focuses on community and personal safety, accountability, competence, least restrictive alternative, normalization, due process, and control.
