RHD’s CORE program based in Homestead Pa. is seeking full and part time Life Skills Coachs for a long-term residential treatment facility providing intensive treatment to men being released from the Allegheny County jail who are dealing with mental health and drug and alcohol issues. This program is seeking candidates with High School diploma, GED and Bachelor degrees to join their Recovery Oriented clinical team. Candidates must be able to work independently to complete assigned duties within the context of a team oriented environment. Candidates will be able to meet expectations in a fast paced environment and be able to re-prioritize responsibilities according to developing program and client needs. Full time salary $12hr to $13hr depending upon education. *Job Duties/Responsibilities: This position requires that the successful candidates work in a Recovery Oriented model of care providing day to day services as well as conducting educational life skills and daily living skills groups to persons in recovery (PIR). This position works on a daily basis to support PIRs in maintaining the physical plant by monitoring and supporting completion of community jobs, support PIRs in maintaining daily schedule, support, assist, and monitor meal preparation, supports implementation of Nutrition Program, monitor the PIR’s self-administration of all medication and log in medication log as assigned, provide crisis intervention, participate in Program milieu, attend and/or facilitate educational groups and meetings (Life Skills, Daily living skills, Community Meetings), co-facilitate weekly Community Decision Making Group and actively support PIRs in facilitating socialization and recreation activities. Lastly, ensure that all RHD, county, MCO, contractual and state regulations and expectations are met and that the program is prepared for review with limited notice.

Experience working in a residential setting with Criminal Justice referred people experiencing drug and alcohol and mental health issues preferred
High School Graduate or G.E.D
Personal Recovery/Life Experience accepted, 3 or more years preferred
Valid driver’s license
ACT 33/34 clearances
FBI clearance, as needed
