Description/Job Summary

Team A.R.R.I.V.E. (Achieving Recovery and Rehabilitation with Individual Vision and Excellence) is the mobile core services team for individuals moving to permanent supported housing, utilizing psychiatric rehabilitation, peer support, and tenant support services for individuals with mental health needs.

Team A.R.R.I.V.E. is seeking Certified Peer Specialists.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and practice the recovery model and psychiatric rehabilitation values and principles
  • Advocate with people in recovery to assist them with obtaining successfully independent living
  • Assist with the development of goal plans and WRAP
  • Maintain regular communication with case managers, community partners and CBH liaisons
  • Support people in recover in the community
  • Work with a creative multi-disciplinary team
  • Complete paperwork and office work in compliance with program regulations

This is a non-exempt position that may require some evening and weekend work and includes 75% travel in the community.

Job Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Peer Specialist Certification
  • HS diploma or GED
  • 2 years working with people in the mental health field required
  • Additional certifications in WRAP facilitation and forensic peer specialist certification welcomed
