Recovery Specialists are responsible for supporting our members with the activities of daily living, providing Recovery coaching and support, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for our members.
Help create trauma-informed, transgender affirming environment.
This is a part-time, on-call position. Shifts include, daytime, evening, and overnight.
Read Program Log at start of shift.
Document shift report in Program Log throughout shift.
Participate in and support members’ social activities.
Support members in maintaining Program schedule.
Support meal preparation.
Monitor self-administration of medication and document in Medication Log.
Assist members in conflict resolution.
Provide transportation for members as needed.
Provide crisis intervention.
Provide Life Skills education
Other duties as assigned by Lead Recovery specialist, including light cleaning, filing, and other administrative tasks.
Provide emergency coverage for next shift.
Other duties as assigned by Director to insure continuity of care.
Conduct, facilitate and document fire drills as assigned by the Director.
Participate in Team Support (Case Consultation Mtgs.),
Previous experience working in human services field or lived experience preferred, but not required. Previous experience working with the trans community, or knowledge of required.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
First Aid and CPR Certifications are required for all new hires,
