Program Summary

Rise Above is a licensed Drug and Alcohol program that is contracted with Montgomery County Adult Probation and Parole, and provides Drug Court treatment service, DUI Assessment, and Drug and Alcohol services in Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Job Description:
Rise Above in King of Prussia, PA is currently seeking an experienced Drug & Alcohol therapist to provide Fee for Service (Independent Contractor) coverage for individual, group psychotherapy, and psychoeducation groups to individuals with substance abuse disorders. Services may be provided in various environments including an office setting and/or Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Payment is on a flat rate basis compensated per service provided at $75 per group and $35 per individual session.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate psychotherapy and psychoeducation groups in an outpatient treatment office.
  • Facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions in an outpatient treatment office
  • Maintain accurate and up to date chart documentation including but not limited to progress notes, creation of treatment plans, and case consultations.
  • Maintain communication with outside agencies, such as probation, Drug Court Treatment Programs, etc., when applicable.
Job Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services ir required; licensure is preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience working with adults recovering from Substance Use Disorders
  • Experience working with Criminal Justice System preferred
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria required
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate both written and verbal skills.
  • Bilingual speakers encouraged to apply (Spanish, Russian, etc)
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours as we provide services during the daytime, evening, and on Saturdays.
