The Lodge is seeking a full time Recovery Coach to be part of a dynamic recovery program in Bethlehem PA. The Lodge is a recovery program for adults with mental illness in Northampton County that provides affordable housing and a supportive environment designed
to promote recovery, stability and the inherent ability to succeed. The Lodge is responsible for oversight and support of Cafe the Lodge, a vocational program for adults with mental illness in Bethlehem PA.
The candidate we are seeking must:
Approach all consumers with unconditional positive regard
Help members develop skills necessary to achieve success/satisfaction in the community
Provide support to members
Assist members with setting and attaining personal goals
Assist with monthly apartment checks
Assist with evacuation/safety drills
Provide crisis intervention as needed
Provide leisure and recreational activities
Accurately document interactions and support to consumers
Be familiar with all operations of vocational program, Cafe the Lodge, including kitchen set-up, Point of Sale, barista, cooking, closing of the café,
Be responsible for timely, appropriate responses to on-call needs of consumers and staff.
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or a human services related field
Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
Excellent communication, writing and time management skills
Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
A valid driver's license
Must have reliable transportation and active vehicle insurance
