The program provides 24-hour nursing for optimum care and medical attention. The goal of the program is three-fold: 1) successful reintegration into a community-based living arrangement with a home-like environment; 2) development of each resident's maximum capacity for independent functioning; and 3) the development of a person-centered residential setting to enhance the quality of the residents' lives. NOVA II serves a five-county area and specializes in serving people with a history of long-term hospitalizations.
