Assist Regional Director in assigning Direct Support Professionals to mandatory annual trainings and tracking status of all assigned trainings.
Manage ongoing recruitment of staff positions, and schedule and conduct interviews as necessary.
Manage 24/7 shift coverage. Create and submit staff schedules to the Regional Director, Assistant Regional Director, and Office Manager. Assist in confirming shift coverage for payroll purposes. Provide site coverage as needed in urgent situations. Manage
time off requests, call-outs, and no-shows. Cover shifts in case of emergencies.
Complete and review all necessary administrative documentation, and/or supervise the completion of the following documentation: vehicle logs, activity and appointment plans, client/home inventories, fire drills, and property forms.
Maintain consumer and home records in accordance to the state regulations and RHD and NJ S.T.E.P Policies and Procedures.
Manage, monitor and reconcile site program related expenditures and consumer personal funds in coordination with Fiscal Administrator.
High School Diploma or the equivalent, plus four years of related work or life experience. Candidate must have one additional year of experience in the area of Mental Health Residential Services.
Any HR, trainer, and recruitment experience preferred.
Excellent Communication skills (written and oral) including interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of individuals and communicate professionally with outside agencies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects
Ability to carry out duties without direct supervision
Demonstrate skills using Microsoft Office software and database management; ability to use the Internet as a resource; progress notes, and other necessary documentation.
Ability to support and implement RHD S.T.E.P and unit values and beliefs.
Problem-solving, conflict resolution, communication, organization and time management skills.
Knowledge of NJ regulations and guidelines.
Must pass NJ Criminal Background Check
Possess a NJ valid driver's license
Training hours as required by RHD NJ S.T.E.P, IDD guidelines and State Regulations
