New Foundations is comprised of group homes for adults with mental illness. The program is located in the community and provides supervision, training, and guidance in daily living skills. Programming and service delivery is guided by the principles of recovery
to assist individuals to achieve life goals. The Young Adult Learning Environment (YALE) provides additional educational, vocational, and social supports to better meet the needs of younger individuals 18 to 22 years old.
Residential Recovery Advisor
A residential program in Bryn Mawr is seeking a qualified, highly motivated, compassionate individuals to provide support to individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. Candidates will be expected to partner with individuals in working towards
goals to increase independence in the community and within the residence.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid PA driver’s license, a willingness to learn and the ability to work well in a team-centered environment. Experience preferred, but training will be provided.
Job responsibilities include:
*Assisting in the ongoing development, documentation and supervision of independent living skills.
*Developing and maintaining trusting, positive relationships with the individuals we serve.
*Introducing Individuals to community-based resources, activities, opportunities and providing daily supports.
*Maintaining physical standards of residence.
*Cleaning and assistance in meal preparation are required as well as assistance with personal care skills depending on assigned site and level of care needed.
Two positions are currently available.
Position F: (Part-time @ 25 hours) Sun 2-11p, Mon 3-11p, Sat 10a-6p
Position G: (Part-time @ 25 hours) Sun 2-11p, Fri and Sat 7am-3pm
Starting salary is $12/hour. Part-time employees in good standing are given first notification when full-time positions become available.
