Resources for Human Development (RHD) is hiring! The RHD Nebraska Omaha office is currently seeking like-minded, values-driven individuals for a Site Supervisor position in our Shared Living Program..The Site Supervisor is directly responsible for ensuring the creation of a safe and healthy environment that fosters communication, a sense of well-being, empowerment and support to adults supported by the program. The Site Supervisor will provide direct supervision of the Shared Living Providers/Independent Contractors in the sites they supervise, and act as a role model for them.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Ensure that all consumers’ programming and service sites are carried out in accordance with the principals of normalization, positive approaches, recovery, RHD values, and abiding to sound ethical social work practices and regulations.
  • Participate in and attend all ISP planning and team meetings for each consumer.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring consumer service plans and team with the Shared Living Providers to coordinate services and supports.
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations by notifying the appropriate persons, completing/submitting incident reports.
  • Review, monitor, and maintain the medication system, specialized services, and any medical concerns for all consumers in accordance with program policy and procedures and regulations in combination with RHD Nursing.
  • Monitor the completion of all site documentation (logs, medications, inventories, incident reports, assessments, progress and van log etc.) and communicate issues and/or problems directly to Unit Director.
  • Meet with each site provider to build a working relationship, provide skill training and mentoring that supports staff development, document and address any identified issues, and conduct on site Quality Assurance reports.
  • Review attendance weekly for accuracy, validity and verification and review all corrections with staff.
  • Completes all other assigned tasks as designated by the Unit Director.

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience working with adults with IDD/Mental Health Diagnosis

Required Education

High School Diploma

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the appropriate regulations, RHD values and program policies and procedures.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Possess and maintain reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
