Description/Job Summary

Resources for Human Development is hosting a Job Fair for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to be held on 11/06/2019 from 10:30 am until 2 pm at the Bear Library located at 101 Governors Pl, Bear DE 19701.


Responsibilities and duties of the Direct Service Professional include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing support and training to individuals with developmental disabilities

  • Providing appropriate emotional and physical support

  • Monitoring the development of life skills

  • Empowering individuals to increase independence and participation in community life

We are currently hiring for a few full-time shifts but mostly part-time weekend positions. Most available shifts are 7a-3p or 3p-11p during the week and weekends.


Hiring requirements include but are not limited to DDDS/DHSS/RHD standards:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, PPD, and criminal background checks

  • Possess a valid DE driver’s license, if you have an out-of-state license then we will need a copy of your driver’s record.

  • High School diploma/GED
