Description/Job Summary

 The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing and documenting individual and group therapy for adults, children and/or families using Evidenced Based and Best Practices. The Outpatient Therapist will be part of amulti-disciplinary team and work collaboratively with a Trauma-InformedApproach to achieve effective treatment outcomes.


    • Use of Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs)

    • Provide individual, group and familytherapy

    • Knowledge of Trauma -Informed Care BestPractices

    • Build and enhance relationships with RHDprograms and staff

    • Collaborate with external providers tocoordinate care

    • Complete all clinical documentation in atimely manner

    • Work with clinical team in aninterdisciplinary approach to care

    • Participate in quality assurance audits

    • Supervise MSW intern.

    • Provide aftercare planning and link tointernal mobile service resources

    • Participate in trainings as requested by Supervisor or Director

Required Experience

  • Experience working with children and adults with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders
  • Experience working in an Outpatient setting

Required Education

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, LSCW Required

Required Qualifications

  • Credentialing with Managed Care Companiespreferred
  • Knowledge of Evidenced Based Practices andTrauma-Informed Care
