Description/Job Summary

On- Call Receptionist needed for Lower Merion Counseling and Mobile Services (LMCMS)

This community-based outpatient mental health treatment center includes psychiatrists and therapists providing comprehensive therapeutic mental health and drug and alcohol services to individuals, families, and groups. In addition, an administrative case manager assists individuals in Lower Merion Township to obtain necessary support services. LMCMS offers Recovery Support Teams and Peer Specialists to assist individuals in their recovery. Staff support individuals in their homes, communities, or locations of their choosing in accessing benefits and entitlements, fostering skills for community living, coordinate services for integrated health such as primary care, mental health, and/or substance use, and aid in the development of natural supports.

Job Qualifications:
  • The incumbent for this position must have excellent customer service skills
  • A background in mental health or medical office is a plus
  • At least 2-3 years as a receptionist/administrative assistant
Job Description: 
  • Proven customer service skills, excellent data entry skills and a knowledge of Office Suite products
  • The receptionist answers a multi-line phone system
  • Directs calls to the appropriate staff
  • Checks clients in and out per office procedures
  • Collects and posts copay according to billing procedures within an EHR
  • Scheduling appointments in a EHR system, running reports
  • General office duties, special projects as assigned
This position reports to the Office Manager.
