Completes all utilization management functions to ensure authorizations are obtained without any gaps in services
Manages referral process to include assessment of new consumers and submission of authorization requests which may include referrals to be admitted to other ACT teams within the ACT Program if needed.
Approves notes to ensure services are accurately documented for billing
Ensures that the team maintains a billable census in-line with budget projections
Provides direct services to supplement the ACT team as needed
Ensures personnel are adhering to all policies and procedures
Manages any incident protocols and reporting requirements
Monitors employee work hours to assure all Federal Wage and Hour laws are adhered to in partnership with fiscal administrator.
Supports Team Leader in the evaluation of staff performance
Participates in personnel matters and dispute resolution procedures
Ensures the confidentiality of all participant and/or employee related information
Participates in supervisor on-call rotation for ACT program
The ACT mobile team will provide treatment and support services to one hundred (100) persons per year. The persons served by the team will be individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues and their families.
