Description/Job Summary

This position works under the supervision of the Quality Manager to provide reporting and data analysis for improvement of clinical services and outcomes. 

Responsibilities/Duties

  1. Maintain an in-depth level of understanding how data are captured within the EHR, i2i, reports and other databases in order to assist with end users for reporting and analysis of data
  2. Support administration and other staff with the interpretation of data for sound decision making; gain familiarity with assessments that are aligned with network initiatives, and compare results of FPCN data to other sources including national, regional, and state data
  3. Assist with retrieving data for ongoing projects including monitoring how data needed is being captured, tracked, and pulled for assessment and evaluation
  4. Provide data analysis for the network CQI team, including collaborating with all Department Directors to prepare and present written reports and dashboards on network  QI activities
  5. Under the direction of the Quality Manager and Executive Team, contributes to reporting requirements related to performance improvement activities, chart reviews and other internal & external needs such as UDS, MU, HEDIS, NCQA, PCMH effort aimed at improving the primary care provided at FPCN
  6. Communicates data and quality measures on a regular basis to staff for provider review, benchmarking, and quality improvement purposes
  7. Performs regular auditing functions and reporting for the Vaccines for Children program in conjunction with the DPC
  8. Manages external data requests from outside agencies and research partners
  9. Acts as liaison and representative from FPCN to conferences, meetings, and insurances to report quality-related data and measures

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related information field

Required Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years of experience
  • Strong understanding of applicable computer programs (EHR a plus) and networks
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
