Oversees and manages the clinical operations of all primary care services and activities at the site..
Essential Duties and Functions
Be a resource to PSRs when patients display challenging behaviors or have a complaint or concern.
Oversee scheduling of PSR and Medical Assistant coverage
Maintain PC schedule in EHR
Ensure PC staff have supplies and resources needed to complete tasks
Manage inventory of supplies, acquisition of equipment, and other service and environmental issues that impact the delivery of services
Be a presence and resource in PC
Have initiative and curiosity regarding workflow and needs of staff and patients
Medical Assistant certification, LPN or other clinical degree/certification required
2 – 4 years clinical and administrative experience in outpatient settings required;
Management/Supervision experience preferred
Work with low-income communities desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment and discretion.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
