ADLCoordinator (Activities of Daily Living) 

JobDescription: 

Thisfull-time Monday – Friday 8 am to 4 pm position.   

TheADL Coordinator is responsible for supervising the ADLs (direct service staff).Additionally, the ADL Coordinator meets with the director and therapists toplan “life skills” programs for the residents and conducts at least one “lifeskill” program each week

Responsibilities/Duties

Overseeand supervise residents in meal preparation.
Oversee the Accountability for the day shift
Conduct at least one “life skills activities” and document the activity atleast once a week.

Assist,monitor, and support with cooking and meal planning, food inventory, andgrocery shopping.
Assist residents in securing prescriptions and coordinate this with day staff.
Log in new medication on MAR Sheets, in the medication logbook .
Monitor residents' self-administration of all medication and log on MAR Sheet.

Assuremonthly coverage/coordination for ADL shifts and post on the whiteboard andschedule book.
Maintain communication among all ADL staff to ensure coordination of servicevia email/phone/text.
Collaborate with the Director and therapists to identify training for ADLstaff.
Provide emergency coverage for the next shift when necessary.
Meet the annual requirements for training.

Required Experience

At least 2 years experience in a drug and alcohol program

Required Education

High School and Drivers License

Required Qualifications

2 Years Experience and High School/Drivers License
