Description/Job Summary

Oversight of day to day operations of our homeless day center, Street 2 Feet Outreach Center, located in Stroudsburg. Providing supervision to Case Management and Outreach staff, assisting them in meeting each client where they are at, assessing both strengths and needs,in collaboration with Director. Rotating Saturdays, some evenings/weekends for community events, and be able to work a non-traditional schedule. 

Responsibilities/Duties

Essential Functions of the Position:


  • To support and promote the mission statement and values of RHD, Inc.
  • Ensure that strengths-based assessment and individualized service plans are completed for each client.
  • Maintain a current referral list for clients
  • Assists the Program Director in future planning, implementing new policies, interpreting new directions, and meeting the needs of the staff.
  • Assist staff in engaging clients in a trusting and supportive treatment partnership, providing emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Develops and maintains an efficient scheduling system for program personnel and program volunteers, ensuring the needs of the program are met.
  • Provide regular weekly/bi-weekly supervision to staff
  • Provide/link staff and volunteers to trainings on various topics to increase their knowledge base and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, agencies, and providers in our community to promote our service.
  • Maintain required records accurately, comprehensively and in a timely manner.
  • Keeps required statistics and submits reports as requested.
  • Track all donated materials and provide Thank you letters/taxable donation letters to donors.
  • Ensure that all clients are entered into the Homeless Management Information System and reviewing for accuracy.
  • Cooperates with, participates in and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Provides liaison with family members, community agencies, advocacy persons/groups and hospitals when appropriate.
  • To work in a collaborative and collegial manner with other staff both intra- and inter-agency in assisting both the program’s clients and the program to meet identified goals.
  • Insures the confidentiality of all client and/or employee-related information.
  • To maintain one’s own physical, mental and emotional well-being to maximize the healthy functioning of the program.
  • Attend Community Events/meetings and trainings as needed/directed.
  • Responsible for adhering to all RHD, Funder and Regulatory body protocols/requirements, documentation, and reporting, and auditing procedures.

  • Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances at the discretion of the Director.

Required Experience

Five years or more of experience working in a human service field, experience working in mental health, homelessness, and substance abuse preferred. 

Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experiencing in a human service field


Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field, Masters Degree in a Human Service field preferred. 

Required Qualifications

Valid Drivers License 

Working vehicle that is registered, inspected and insured. 

Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Clearances.

Program Summary

Street 2 Feet Outreach Center is a program of RHD Crossroads Community Services, serving the homeless population of Monroe County. In addition of operating a daytime resource center, we also provide Street Outreach, a same day pay low barrier employment program to clients, and collaborate with community partners and stakeholders.
