RHD CT provides residential community living arrangements, day services, and individual habilitative supports to people who have developmental disabilities in the West and South regions in Connecticut. Currently RHD CT operates 10 CLAs, Continuous Residential
Support programs and supports individuals who reside in apartments in the community. RHD CT operates two day programs, one in the Western region and one in the Southern region of the State.
RHD CT is looking to hire a Site Manager who will be committed to assisting individuals through daily living skills to allow for their full potential for independence. The CLA is in the Trumbull area. Each individual has a developmental disability and requires
24/7 supervision. All of the consumers residing in the CLA participate in vocational programming, community recreational activities and are supported closely at home throughout their ADL's.
Significant aspects of the work include:
leadership that supports the agency’s mission
fostering an environment that promotes consumer, family/guardian and employee satisfaction
assuring compliance with CT DSS and RHD policies, procedures and practices
development and monitoring of life and social skills curriculum
development and review/reporting on consumer goals and objectives
attendance at consumer meetings
training and evaluation of staff
liaison with families and guardians
review and ongoing monitoring of services provided to individuals served by the agency
The minimum requirements for this position are:
High School Diploma/GED
DDS med certification
A valid drivers license
3 years experience providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities
1 years of supervisory experience in a related field
