RHD CT is hiring an Assistant Director. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.
Annual Salary Range - $68,000 - $72,000
Position Summary This position manages the day to day operations of the program in collaboration with the State Director. Direct oversight of three Residential Directors and one Day Program Manager. Ensure programs are in compliance with DDS and RHD policies. Participate in all aspects of DDS licensing, employee training, program budget and consumer finances.
Essential Duties and Functions Administrative Responsibilities:
Trend, analyze and respond to all incidents, accidents and workers comp claims
Maintain and update as necessary, policy and procedures manual in accordance to RHD, funding and regulatory compliance.
Monitor program to assure progress on the Strategic Plan, Recruitment and Retention Plan, Quality Management Plan and Divisional Operational Plan.
Complete, review, and/or monitor all program records to ensure regulatory compliance and quality of records.
Provide staff trainings as assigned.
In collaboration with the State Director, monitor and manage referral and admission processes.
In collaboration with the State Director and Senior Budget Analyst, ensure programs are operating within budget.
Provide 24/7 on call support to the program.
Supervise Residential and Day Program Directors.
Provide administrative and program support to Director.
Ensure the quality of services provided within the program meets DDS and RHD expectations.
Conduct Abuse & Neglect investigations as assigned.
Complete staff performance evaluations for assigned staff.
Ensure that all RHD, and DDS CT contractual and state regulations and expectations are met and that the program is prepared for review with limited notice.
Provide chart reviews as required to assure all documentation is compliant with regulatory and funding sources.
Participate in the DDS licensing process.
Continuous Quality Improvement Duties as needed (CQIP).
Attend staff meetings and facilitate with the State Director.
Assist in the recruitment, on boarding and training of staff.
Three to five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in human services or education related fields.
Must have a valid driver's license.
RHD Connecticut provides residential community living arrangements, day services, and individual habilitative supports to people who have developmental disabilities in the West and South regions in Connecticut. Currently RHD CT operates 10 CLAs, Continuous Residential Support programs and supports individuals who reside in apartments in the community. RHD CT operates two day programs, one in the Western region and one in the Southern region of the State.
