The staffing coordinator is a member of the administrative team. This position is primarily responsible for the recruitment, onboarding and oversight of Direct Care Professionals (DSPs) who are hired to provide relief for open shifts in residential and day service sites.
Recruitment of DSP staff, posts positions via balancetrak, stage hiring outcomes.
Manages data base of DSP relief staff.
Provides recommendations for best candidates.
Provides onboarding for new hires, through orientation and job trainings.
Supervises DSPs on relief list. Checks with managers for feedback on staff performance.
Prepares monthly report on status of job fairs, relief lists, job performance.
Three years' experience with services provided by group homes, day program, and/or support to individuals living independently in the community.
Use of Microsoft Office products.
High School diploma, Associates degree in human services field preferred.
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
