Description/Job Summary

The Training Coordinator will facilitate, monitor,evaluate, and document employees training activities who are assigned to RHD Delaware DD Services

Responsibilities/Duties

Essential JobDuties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate training needs which are web-based and in-person for new and existing employees.
  • Identify and secure internal and external training resources to address competency deficits and training needs by collaborating with internal and external training vendors.
  • Develop and organize training programs and or resources to meet specific training needs for employees. 
  • Develop and assemble training aids such as manuals and Power-Point presentations as needed.
  • Notify employees about internal and external training topics and register employees for trainings as regulated.
  • Assist with hiring new employees and mapping out their training plans at the time of hire and annually thereafter.
  • Conduct training programs using recognized training techniques and tools as directed.
  • Develop and implement assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and present the results and findings to the management team, etc. 
  • Track and report employees training outcomes, both web based and in-person classes to include corporate trainings for employees.  
  • Maintain and update employees training files per DDDS/DHSS and RHD's expectations and policies.
  • Handle logistics for training activities including training sites and equipment to include but not necessarily limited to /Vidyo/video – Zoom and other platforms.
  • Function as the front office receptionist and promptly deliver messages to the appropriate office staff and or site managers. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with office suppliers.
  • Ensure that the office has sufficient office supplies at all times and all equipment are functional accordingly. 
  • Perform other administrative/clerical duties as assigned.  

Required Experience

Prior experience as a training coordinator, trainer or similar role a plus.

Required Education

High school diploma or associates degree preferred in related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a training coordinator, trainer or similar role a plus.
  • Knowledge of training methodologies.
  • Prior knowledge of learning management systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of competency assessment.
  • Certification as a CPR/FA instructor a plus, MANDT, etc.
