The Data Analyst gathers and analyzes data from RHD’s Human Resources Information System for the purposes of data integrity, verification of system functionality, and compliance with company policy.
Duties and responsibilities
Acts as a resource for entry level HRIS system inquiries.
Detects and identifies technical problems or deficiencies with data or system issues.
Run or create reports or queries to analyze data
Communicate findings to HRIS Assistant Manager
Communicate with programs, departments, or other appropriate personnel to correct or prevent data problems as directed
Assist with delivery of training of designated system users
Respond timely to all customers’ (employees, managers, external entities) to inquiries or requests for information
Assist with HRIS upgrades and new functionality through testing and comparison, implementation, and training as directed
Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned
Associate’s Degree or equivalent education and/or experience preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, Access a plus
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytic skill set
Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to gather and analyze data, confirming its accuracy
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
High positive energy to face the challenges of a fast-paced environment
