Description/Job Summary

The Technology Operations Coordinator will play an integral role in supporting the various functions within the Business Technology Services department. The Technology Operations Coordinator will work closely with department leaders to complete tasks and further improve operational efficiencies in support of technology projects, and other initiatives.


  • Provide administrative support for the EHR Implementation Project, including but not limited to scheduling, attendance tracking, documentation management/sharing
  • Coordinates all technological aspects of new office set ups, as well as office moves and acts as a go-between for the BTS department and Division/Program staff during these initiatives
  • Plays an integral role in assessing and providing insight into improvement of current operational procedures.
  • Work with and coordinates technology vendors in supporting various technology initiatives
  • Attends meetings, documents meeting notes and minutes, and documents progress.
  • Develops problem solutions by describing requirements in a work-flowchart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analyzing alternative solutions; preparing system specifications; writing programs.
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties as needed

Required Experience

  •  Minimum of two years’ experience providing operational oversight and support for a technology department
  • Experience working within a project team is preferred

Required Education

  • Associates Degree preferred, experience instead of degree is acceptable

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time effectively based upon priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products – word, excel, outlook
