Description/Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager works in partnership with the Human Resources Director and the HR Business Partners and is responsible for the implementation of strategies to recruit and retain RHD employees.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Create a talent acquisition strategy for RHD. Critically evaluate RHD’s current talent acquisition and retention procedures and modify them accordingly. Design new procedures where needed and oversee their implementation.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and talent acquisition and retention programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals and meet compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws.
  • Supervision and development of RHD’s talent acquisition and retention team to streamline processes, solve problems and identify areas in need of improvement.
  • Track RHD’s talent acquisition and retention metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire. These metrics will make it easier for the Company to see where problems lie and address them quickly.
  • Build external tools and resources to ensure that RHD has access to the widest possible pool of candidates to choose from, maintain a professional network within the same industry by attending conferences, job fairs, seminars, etc.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to forecast hiring needs i.e. workforce planning
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems including the recruitment and retention budget
  • Recommends new methods, policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of department and service provided to organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships and staffing contract negotiation

Required Experience

  • 6 years of experience in a related Human Resources function to include two years of supervisory experience
  • Prior experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager, or similar experience in an HR role

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of human resources laws.
  • Knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of various interviewing methods.
