The Internal Communications Specialist is an integral team player on the Internal Communications team, responsible for designing and executing a variety of campaigns, tactics and materials to share key information and promote the work of RHD employees. This candidate, in partnership with the Interna lCommunications Manager, will also be responsible for learning how to create comprehensive communications plans for initiatives, projects and events.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a creative, detailed, resourceful self-starter This individual should possess a keen eye for design, be comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders, have a passion for storytelling and eager to contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives.

Manages the content, promotion and functional utilization of RHD’s corporate Intranet,MyRHD, and Sharepoint team sites.
Partners with Internal Communications Manager, in addition to department, divisional and program stakeholders, to create comprehensive communications plans.
Cultivates relationships and partnerships with other RHD staff and content experts to understand and communicate key information, including but not limited to:divisional, program and departmental news, events, policies and procedures,forms and other materials
Develops,designs and executes innovative, visually engaging internal communications pieces including eblasts, flyers, infographics, etc.
Plans,films and edits organizational videos used for internal communication purposes.
Serves as the point person for tracking, prioritizing and following up on requests for communications assistance.
Participates in planning and execution of organization-wide meetings and celebrations.
Active participation on various organizational committees to support planning,execution and communication. Analyzes effectiveness of communications tactics and tools and plays an active role in the redevelopment of such tools when warranted.
2 years relevant experience required.
An associates degree, with 2 years experience or a bachelor’s degree in media arts, communications, graphic design or a related field.
