This position is located in the Berwyn, PA area, approximately 40 miles west of Philadelphia, PA.

Job Title: Team Lead                                                                  Status: Non - Exempt

Position Summary

The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily needs, health and safety of the resident.

It is expected that the Team Lead will act in accordance with the policies and procedures of Adesha Village and the values established by the community and Resources for Human Development (RHD)

Responsibilities/Duties

OPERATIONS

  1. Responsible for the overall daily and weekly rhythm of the home
    1. To include: menu/activity planning, coordination of visits from SC’s, family & friends
  2. Ensures that all services to residents are provided in accordance with state and county regulations
  3. Ensure that all residents have a meaningfully active daily life
  4. Assists with maintaining household budgets and keeping records in expense logs.
  5. Ensures that monthly fire drills are conducted and reported to Management Team.
  6. Ensures completion of the following Forms:
    1. Census
    2. Daily & Monthly Reports
    3. Check Requests
    4. Crossover & Bi-Weekly Med Forms
    5. Medication Logs (MAR Forms)
  7. Participates in weekly Team Lead Meetings
  8. Participate in quarterly “Resident Chart Reviews”
  9. Schedules & accompanies residents during medical appointments & family visits as needed
  10. Follow-up with pharmacy regarding prescriptions & ensuring accuracy of MAR forms
  11. Write and send out weekly updates to all staff regarding relevant status of the house and residents to include categories such as:
    1. Resident’s Clinical needs
    2. Appointments
    3. Vehicle & House Maintenance Needs
    4. Staff Needs/Concerns
  1. Attend, participate, and maintain 24- hours of yearly training, along with a completed physical (every 2 years)
  2. Performs all other duties as assigned or directed by his or her supervisor. 


VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

  1. Ensure the maintenance of vehicle mileage logs in program vehicle
  2. Ensure that updated vehicle registration and insurance information are in program vehicle
  3. In conjunction with the Office Manager, schedule regular maintenance, oil changes, repairs, and inspections for vehicles while keeping accurate records.

Required Experience

1-2 yrs experience working direct care

Required Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 18 years of age

2. Have an high school diploma or equivalent

3. Completed all required training developed by the Bureau of Autism Services

4. 24 hrs of human services training each year

5. Successful completion of CPR & First Aid training required

6. Subject to criminal background check as required by the Bureau of Autism and 6400 regulations

7. Subject to FBI check as required by BAS ad 6400 regulations

8. Successful completion of bi-annual physical with TB test
